The Summer Camp Experience is a 1-week residential (sleepaway) summer camp where girls are first introduced to the 5 Karat Gems Curriculum Framework. Imagine girls fully engaged, confident, and finally having fun while making friends in an interactive learning environment! Gems engage daily in STEM learning and confidence-building activities through the 5 Karat Curriculum.

Primary Activities

  • Academics: 2 hours/day of problem-based learning

  • Career: 30 mins/day with STEM career women

  • Creativity: 1.5 hrs/day of hands-on tasks

  • Leadership: 1 hr/day in small groups

  • Service: 1 hr/day organizing community service
