Global STEM Travel Experience
Introduced in 2018, former Gems and high school volunteers (age 16 or older) applied to attend a two-week international STEM exploration trip. Eight chosen girls traveled to Italy (Naples, Rome, and Florence) to explore the “M” in STEM - geometric concepts of ancient and modern architecture, technology, and engineering.
Global STEM Travel 2019 United Arab Emirates
In 2019, ten Texas girls will participate in a uniquely designed learning experience in the United Arab Emirates, including student exchange, cultural immersion, and STEM learning. Girls take off Jul 5-July 15, 2019. It will be a summer to remember!
